Simple things

As soon as I read about the #holidaycardproject I wanted to try and make some cards too. I'm going to make a few cards out of this and send them for the project. I don't know why but Christmas isn't very inspirational subject for me so it was kind of hard to come up with anything creative. But I apparently ended up with a creature which is a mixture of a kangaroo and a...cat, maybe? :'D Oh well, he can be whatever he wants as long as he just brings a smile on someones face.

I tried to bring in some heartwarming elements and create an overall peaceful atmosphere, I hope I got somewhere near that. I have been working on this for waaay too long and I'm still not fully satisfied with it but I'm pretty sure that is quite an impossible
goal to gain x) I'm trying to make some other cards too, luckily there is still time.

Still learning the digital painting, yo!

Feel free to join the project too, I'm sure everyone can come up with something that will surely cheer someone up. ^^

Also I'm hoping that a certain friend of mine isn't going to stab me in the face for the sake of bad bird anatomy. They're fantasy birds, okay!  

//edit: I forgot to mention that I have absolutely no idea where this foxy found that candle, but good thing he and his friends seem to enjoy it quite a bit! ^^
